Was a busy day with PT/OT for two hours and then a trip to the hematologist. This doctor said that he didn't think that Dad had a bleeding problem and that the bleeding that caused the stroke wasn't systemic. He (the doctor) will go ahead and do all the testing required to ensure his preliminary diagnosis but he does expect it will be confirmed.

He emphasized while the kind of stroke that Dad had is extremely rare, we was lucky to have that kind as his recovery possibilities were very good. He said that there was no reason Dad couldn't have a complete and full recovery.

Today at rehab Dad worked on his written language and math. The exercise involves a long string of letters and/or numbers in a line, and then a word or series of numbers is selected for him to find in this string. Apparently he did quite well. All continue to be amazed at his progress. We are so thankful for his hard work to get better, and the progress.

Dad said that he is working to write letters to everyone who stood by him while in the hospital. It's extremely taxing for him, so it may take quite a while, but it is good that he's thankful for the support and he thinks of it often.

Have a great day everyone.

Behold, I am Jehovah, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?
