Surprised to find that Dad was up shaving at the sink when we arrived. He needed his OT to help stabilize him as he stood there, but he did the shaving himself. He had a good breakfast, and talk with Mom and I until about 10:00 am. We talked about his recovery, and how blessed he felt to have so many people thinking and praying for him. He can feel your support. He is still having some vision issues, but in all other areas he seems to be improving fast. His chief complaint is the headaches that he's having. They come and go but Tylenol seems to be enough to handle them. We'll ask the Dr. about that. I showed him the picture (above) from his MRI, and he was very interested in it. His sense of color is coming back, but not all the way there yet. He worries about his recovery and how long it will take, and I think that's good. More like the guy he is. In fact, he launched into old rants about Obama and Mom's shopping habits. lol.
Kevin called me while I was in with Dad, so I put him on speaker so they could talk. They talked for a few minutes, had a nice conversation.
Funny story: Today he was joking about the moaning sound he makes at night when he has a headache, and what a ""thrill"" the nurses must have got listening to him. Then joked it was like ""Hospital Gone Wild"" a knock off of girls gone wild videos. That made everyone in the room laugh. too funny.
