Dad was sleeping for a couple hours before dinner. We woke him to try and get some food in him. He ate a good lunch but he wasn't hungry for dinner. He seemed to have his old headache back and was complaining about feeling "junky." We got a couple of bites into him, some juice, and his Tylenol and he went back to sleep. While awake he still seemed to be thinking better, and remembered stuff that had happened throughout the day. We see improvements, but worry when he doesn't have his appetite. We were just about to leave for the evening when the doctor (Anjum) stopped by. She woke him up, asked him a few questions like "where's you're family" and Dad remembered that we all had been there, some had to go home, but that Mom and Scott had just left. So that was good. He's getting his sense of time passing back. We spoke to Anjum for a while after that. Asking questions about how long he'll be in the hospital, next steps, etc. She told us that the CT that was taken that morning showed no change, and that that was good. no more bleeding. She could tell he was improving and said that she would consult with other doctors and therapists on the team, and try to give us an answer on Wednesday. She took my number and promised to call.
