Dr just Left.... Good News NO Surgery needed. The bleeding should have peaked by now. CT scan on Tuesday to confirm. There is no tumor. The hemorrhage in good place with less damage to motor skills than if it was located more to the front of the head. He be going through some more testing for a few more days. Since the bleeding is on his left side, he is having some issues on his right side. Mostly these affect his visual abilities. He has a hard time seeing things on his right side, or following movement there. All of these conditions should improve as the body absorbs the blood. Looks like he will be here at least a few more days

This Image is from the MRI taken yesterday. (6/13)

If you look at the lower right of this image you'll see a large bright spot, that is the hemorrhage. It's actually on the left side, midway up the back of Dad's head. The Dr.s tell us that almost all brain bleeds stop on their own in 24-72 hours. The swelling caused by this is affecting dad's motor skills or as the Dr says ""his ability to put together a plan to use his muscles."" The swelling is in an areas as to not be pushing on any vital components of the brain, e.g., the central core, brain stem, etc. There is no build up of fluid (Hydrocephalus) which is very good."

Medications that Dad is on:
Keppra which is an Anti-seizure and Fioricet for the pain he feels in his head.
