Had dinner with Dad. They have all the patients eat together sitting up which I think is great. He didn't eat much again. After about 20 minutes he was done and wanted to heard back to bead. He was worn out from all the PT he'd had today. We stayed and chatted with him until about 6pm. He was happy, but tired. [Headache - lvl 2]

Just as we were starting to leave his new doctor came in. Dr. Davis (a woman). She's the facility's ""hospitalist."" She seems good, and asked some good questions about his history. There's a bit of a concern about Dad's renal function, but not sure if that's related to the stroke or was a chronic problem prior to it. She also was concerned about a mark on his left inner elbow. She looked it over and diagnosed phlebitis (this was a site of a Vegas placed IV) and got him some warm packs and tylenol for the pain. He'd been complaining about it but we thought is was just sore from the ripping off of the tape. She said that if didn't improve quickly she'd prescribe antibiotics.
